"Explore. Dream. Discover"
Hi, my name is Serafin Mendoza, an everyday self motivated learner who is always on the look out for new experiences and adventures. I'm looked at as an optimistic person because I always like to find the positive in every negative. You will find me dancing away with the music. I enjoy listening to music because it brings out the better person in me. I am the youngest in my family and take being the oldest to my brother and sister a blessing. Being the oldest in my family I believe suits an important role in influencing them to be better people and make good decisions in their own life. I was born in Mexico in a small town called, "Huacao". Both my parents immigrated to the United States in pursuit of escaping harsh poverty. In that case I never had the chance to know my own culture considering I came to the United States at age 2. Something valuable I learned throughout my childhood and still a mind set of mine is to never fear failure. Truth is nothing nor one is perfect so keep in mind that we all have weakness's, but then again we should not let them bring us down but work to improve. Once I attempted to find my true potential I gained great friends, morals, social skill, and most importantly became drastically more happy with myself. I am "Surf" for those who know me well a name to whom describes my exciting and joyful self.
